Veteran restaurateur Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts has partnered with music artist Justin Timberlake to launch the Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville. The $25 million restaurant features a decadent design from AvroKO that honors historic supper clubs through an inviting, unpretentious lens.
“We kept gravitating to a really intriguing genre known as ‘countrypolitan,’” explains AvroKO principal Adam Farmerie. “It was a movement in the 1960s and ’70s that signifies a nexus point of both new and old music themes, and paved a way for some incredible artists we know and love today. During this period, music and shows were advertised using these incredible flyers with rich colorways—both muted and saturated—which we used in the various spaces.”
Spread across 30,000 square feet and three levels, the Twelve Thirty Club welcomes visitors on the ground floor with rich green hues that lead the way to gold accents found on the mezzanine and blues shades on the second floor.
Antique lighting and opulent chandeliers instill an Old World glamour through the interior, where crescent-shaped leather booths inlaid with copper and a bar detailed with zinc with emerald-toned tiles serve as focal points. The space also nod to 1920s Art Deco style and features custom handpainted murals reminiscent of a dark and whimsical forest, complemented by lush burgundy curtains and red velvet.
