At the turn of the twentieth century, a new landmark was rising at the corner of 6th and Lavaca. Austin’s seventh U.S. Post Office, right along the old Meridian Highway, a route that carried letters, secrets and stories across the American West. Soon, more than 110 years later, the soul of this building will deliver again.
What once sorted letters in the lobby will serve cocktails. What once held court in the atrium, will hold a stage. Here we will pay homage to a bygone era. Step inside and the walls will no longer whisper, they will sing
